Custom orders are paid in full before design or production begins. VK Designs & Prints does not accept deposits for custom orders.

Quote Scope

A written quote applies to the exact specifications used to prepare it. Quantity, size breakdown, dimensions, brand/material, color, number of sides or print locations, personalization, artwork/design requirements, specialty finishing, packaging, rush timing, shipping destination or delivery method can affect price. If the scope changes, the quote may need to be revised before work begins.

Customer-Provided Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate names, wording, dates, sizes, quantities, dimensions, photos, logos, colors, product selections, print locations, delivery information and other customization details.

Artwork

Low-resolution, blurry, cropped, compressed or watermarked customer files can affect final quality and may delay production while a better file is requested. Design, cleanup or recreation not included in the original scope may require a revised quote. See the Artwork & File Guidelines.

Proof Approval

When a proof is provided, written approval authorizes the approved version to move into production. Before replying APPROVED, review spelling, names, dates, photos, colors, sizing, placement, quantity, product style and contact information. Use the Proof Approval Checklist.

Changes After Approval

Changes requested after written approval or after production has begun may not be possible and can require additional production/design costs or a new order, depending on the stage of the project.

Color

Screen colors and finished printed colors can vary because displays, materials, printing methods and lighting reproduce color differently. Customers with critical brand colors should supply their known color values or brand guide before production.

Timing & Deadlines

Turnaround varies by product, quantity, complexity, artwork readiness, proof revisions, production capacity and delivery requirements. Customers should provide both the event date and required in-hand date. Requested dates are not guaranteed unless availability is confirmed for the specific order.

Rush & Same-Day Requests

Rush or same-day availability depends on the exact product, complete customer materials arriving early enough, proof timing, production capacity and delivery. A rush request is not automatically accepted merely by placing an order.

Shipping & Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. Production time and carrier transit time are separate. Applicable shipping, delivery and taxes depend on the order and destination.

Custom / Personalized Sales

Because custom and personalized products are created for the individual customer, they are final and non-refundable once design or production work begins, subject to applicable law. This policy does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
