Artwork & File Guidelines

2026 Print-Ready Standards • VK Designs & Prints

Send the highest-quality original artwork available. Good source files produce cleaner proofs and better final output.

Preferred File Types

PNG with transparent background: useful for print-ready raster graphics when appropriate
PDF or SVG: preferred for vector logos, line art and layouts when available
High-resolution JPG: appropriate for photographs

Resolution & Final Size

Raster artwork should be clear at the intended final print size. Approximately 300 DPI at final size is preferred when possible. Small screenshots, heavily compressed images and files downloaded from social media can become blurry or pixelated when enlarged.

Before Sending Artwork, Confirm

The file is the correct final logo/photo/design—not an old version
No important text or artwork is accidentally cropped
The background is correct or transparent when required
Spelling, dates, phone numbers, websites and social handles are correct
You have supplied any separate front/back/sleeve files needed
You have identified which artwork belongs on which product or print location

Brand Colors & Color Matching

If specific brand colors matter, provide the brand guide or known color values with the quote/order details. Phone screens, monitors, inks, printers and materials reproduce color differently, so screen appearance is not a guarantee of identical printed color.

Need Design, Cleanup or Recreation?

Tell us before the quote is finalized if the file needs a new design, background removal, recreation, cleanup, resizing, additional versions or other preparation. Artwork requirements can affect project scope and price.

Photos

Send original/high-resolution photos whenever possible. Avoid screenshots of photos, social-media downloads, watermarked images and heavily filtered copies when a better original exists.

Copyright & Permission

Submit only logos, photographs, graphics, trademarks or other content that you own or have permission to use. VK Designs & Prints may request replacement artwork when a submitted file cannot appropriately be reproduced.
